 Dr. Sullivan built Smiles by Sullivan with the dream of providing the area with world-class cosmetic and restorative dentistry. “But in addition to taking care of our patients, it’s just as important to give back to the community that has supported us all of these years,” he explains. “That’s why we started the Bright Smiles Foundation.”
If you’re like most people, you’ve thought about whitening your teeth as a relatively quick and inexpensive method of brightening your smile. At Smiles by Sullivan, your new “bright smile” contributes to the future of local children. The Bright Smiles Foundation was created by Dr. Sullivan as a way to support the youth of Tulare County with the opportunity to excel through grants and scholarships in academics, social activities, sports, and recreation. 100% of the funds generated by teeth whitening go directly to the Foundation. Over the years that the Foundation has been in place, local resident’s beautiful smiles have translated into over $100,000 in donations to our local youth.
Dr. Sullivan is also proud to support the AACD’s Give Back a Smile Program (GBAS). Through GBAS, volunteer dentists rebuild the smiles of survivors of domestic abuse. The GBAS has helped over 1000 survivors nationwide, giving them hope and something to smile about. “This is really close to my heart, as we have been able to help survivors return to a better life than they once had,” said Dr. Sullivan.
